Per basic definition, Urine is a yellowish, watery residue of the human anatomy that is retained in the bladder and released through the urethra.

It contains nitrogen compounds including urea and other waste substances extracted from the body by the kidneys, and it is one of the methods for eliminating excess water and salt.

Biologically, it is one of the by-products of metabolism.

This residue contains more than 95% water. It contains urea, chloride, sodium, potassium, creatinine, and other organic and inorganic dissolved ions.

Urea is a non-toxic molecule made up of toxic ammonia and carbon dioxide (CO2).

 

Urine Color and Its Significance

1. If your urine is dark brown, it might be that you are dehydrated and need to drink plenty of water.

2. The color of healthy urine ranges from pale yellow to amber-colored urine.

3. The color of abnormal urine is sometimes green, red, or brown.

Why Your Urine Is Foamy

Your urine is foamy because of one of the following reasons

Whenever you urinate, white foam forms on the toilet bowl, and this is called urine foaming.

The foam looks like soda or beer pour.

1. If you have not had much water to drink, urine foams up when it is concentrated.

2. It is a sign of excess protein in your urine, such as albumin.

3. Kidney issues may also be the source of your urine foaming, as the kidneys might be unable to filter the waste in the body if they are not functioning properly.

How to prevent foamy urine

1. Always make sure you stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.

2. Try to maintain a healthy blood sugar level

3. Stay away from smoking

4. Do exercise regularly
