The Ashanti regional organizer for the Convention People’s Party (CPP) Hon Gallo Emmanuel says he is optimistic that Hon Samia Nkrumah will definitely return to the party even though she has exited on certain reasons.
The biological daughter of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah terminated her membership with the CPP barely months ago by way of exit and allied with Ghana Union Movement (GUM), however Hon Gallo told www.leakynews.net in an exclusive interview that “we are going to talk to our dear sister who is a daughter of Kwame Nkrumah to let her understand that this is her home and this is what her father left for her”.
The Regional Chairman continued that “I believe my lovely sister will understand and come back home. Samia will come back home. It was just some little misunderstanding. Samia has a big respect for elders and the party”.
He made a sad indication that her departure has really affected the party and that executives are not happy seeing people leaving the party. “Samia is CPP and CPP is Samia. This is the property she has and she cannot leave her property and go anywhere.”
