Parliamentary Primaries; UPP Chair slaps delegates for abusing Covid-19 safety protocols

Countries around the world are busily battling the spread of the deadly coronavirus through the adherence to WHO safety protocols but according to the Ashanti regional Chairman for United Progressive Party (UPP), the situation appears different in Ghana.

Mr. Charles Armah-Crosby has raised a statement that the political atmosphere in the country at the moment is ruining efforts made by government towards safeguarding the citizenry against  covid-19 following the high abuse of safety protocols which according to him characterized the just ended NPP parliamentary primaries.

Regional Chairman for the opposition party (UPP) expressed displeasure over why members of the ruling party NPP kicked into the gutter social distancing, wearing of nose masks and application of hand rub sanitizers notably at the time followers of the party were celebrating the victory of their preferred Parliamentary candidate.

Mr. Charles Armah-Crosby spoke exclusively to www.leakynews.net , stating that the above health blunder will go far to shoot up the number of positive cases on covid-19 in Ghana.

“I will not be surprised if the recorded number of confirmed cases shoots up in hundreds this week. They have disgraced their own leader and President of Ghana His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo”, he chastised.
