Old students of Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School (1981/1986 batch) held a fund raising dinner and dance on Sunday, 26th August, 2023.
Aside reuniting the alumni plus entertainment attractions, the ultimate aim was to raise money to put up a computer library for the school.
They have targeted an amount of GHs 20,000 for the project.
The fundraising dinner was held a day after the group commissioned a library they refurbished for the school at a cost of GHs 50,000.
Addressing the media on the sidelines of the program, President for the group Dr. Boakye appealed to old students of OKESS to support them in cash and kind to make the E-Library project and other support they want to offer the school a reality.
He explained that the group was formed to support the school and members.
The General Secretary Madam Isabella Adusei added that executives of the year group have planned to raise more funds for projects.
The event was followed up with a thanksgiving service on Sunday and a send off luncheon.
