Members of a group called Movement for Bawumia For President 2024 have again fired a verbal missile against broadcast journalist Captain Smart; suspended program host of Angel TV.
Owing to his persistent and unbending critique against authorities involved in corruption in Ghana, the group has questioned the integrity of the former darling boy of the CEO for ABN Dr. Kwaku Oteng.
National President for the group Boateng Duncan has challenged the journalist to prove to Ghanaians if he is corruption free, reiterating that Captain Smart should come out and raise a defense publicly that his current worth and properties are not products of corruption.
He told www.leakynews.net in a press statement that “there is a saying that whoever goes to equity must go with clean hands. If we understand Captain Smart very well, he thinks he is fighting corruption. Then whoever is fighting corruption must be corruption free. Let’s assume that Captain Smart migrated from Kumasi to Accra 20 years now. We executives of Movement for Bawumia For President 2024 only know that Captain Smart is a presenter from which he is remunerated. For these few years now, Captain Smart has been so much enriched. This raises doubts about how he acquired such riches.”
Premised on the above, Boateng Duncan called on authorities to investigate the source of his (Captain Smart) riches “to give him (Captain Smart) moral grounds to parade himself as corruption crusader”.
