NPP Parliamentary Aspirant, Dr. Louise Serwaa Donkor Develops Training Program For Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ SHS

2020 NPP parliamentary aspirant for Old Tafo Constituency, Dr. Louise Carol Serwaa Donkor has developed a training program dubbed: “Girls Leadership Academy” for students of Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ Senior High School.

It is focused at mentoring and equipping them with leadership and entrepreneurial skills for a bright future.

The former parliamentary aspirant who is also an old students (2003 year group) of the school launched the program on Saturday, 11th November, 2023 at the school’s assembly hall as part of a durbar which was held for the commissioning of a 12-seater toilet facility built by the 2003 year group of old students for house 8.


Workaholic Dr. Louise Carol Serwaa Donkor told the media that after reflecting on the academic nurturing; reason for who she is today, she settled on coming up with the intiative as a way of giving back to the school and ultimately building the students up into outstanding personalities and leaders in the future.

With time, the program according to her will be scaled up to a national and international dimension so as to benefit girls across and beyond the country.
