NBU Project executives offer financial solution to business establishments in Ghana

 

 

Officials of the popular European Union funded project based in Asokore Mampong Municipality- No Business as Usual (NBU) will tomorrow 21st May 2020 stream a detail discussion on some of the financing sources for start-ups.

Streaming live on Facebook, budding entrepreneurs will be previledged to attend virtually and tap answers to one of the most vital questions regarding the establishment of business in Ghana i.e the financing of start-up and expansion activities.

Shaibu Fuseini, Training Coordinator for NBU disclosed to www.leakynews.net that the episode will focus on introducing the various financing options and their unique features.

ABOUT NBU

The No Business as Usual (NBU) project seeks to stimulate youth employment and inclusive socio-economic growth through joint stakeholder collaboration in the Asokore Mampong Municipality. The consortium partners are SOS Children’s Villages Netherlands (SOS-CV/NL), Asokore Mampong Municipal Assembly (AMMA), and SOS Children’s Villages Ghana (SOS-CV/Ghana). The European Union (EU) is the lead donor of the project.

 

The project has two broad objectives:

Improved sustainable local economic growth and expanded job creation by enhanced collaboration of civil society organizations, the Asokore Mampong Municipal Assembly (AMMA) and other stakeholders (targeting 500 youth).

Enhanced capacity of Asokore Mampong Municipal Assembly (AMMA) to collaborate with civil society and private sector to mobilize revenues for local development while promoting transparency and accountability to citizens, and piloting 2 social businesses and 3 public private partnership (PPPs).
