SOS-Ghana’s No Business as Usual (NBU) Project emerged the winner of the SOCIAL IMPACT PROJECT AWARD 2020 at the Project Management awards event which was held on 13th December 2020 in Accra.
The highly competitive honor was achieved by officials of the project after beating competing institutions including; MTN Ghana, Zoomlion Ghana Ltd, Accra Street Academy (an NGO advocating against streetism) and Built Environment (they built the Ghana infectious disease center during the Covid-19 pandemic).
It was presented by executives of Management Excellence Foundation Ghana (organizers of the event) in recognition of NBU Project’s efforts towards the social wellbeing of youth and people of Asokore Mampong Municipality and beyond and complimenting SOS Ghana as having a heart for all.
The above monumental achievement was unveiled during a Corporate Networking meeting held on Friday, 18th December 2020 at the forecourt of the hub of the project.
Project Coordinator Esther Matey at the meeting expressed gratitude for the efforts of the European Union, SOS Children’s Villages Netherlands/Ghana and the Asokore Mampong Municipal Assembly for their commitment towards the achievement.
