Traditional priest for Bosore of the Kwabre East District Nana Kwadwo Boateng a.k.a “dumgya komfour” has built a modern house for a resident of the community.
The facility is a fully furnished single bedroom self-contain house and was put up as a consolation package for Kwane Oppong (resident) over the loss of his 7-bedroom apartment which was razed down by an inferno three years ago.
The cost of the facility revolves around GHs 20,000.
The building after completion was handed over to him on Wednesday 25th May 2022.
In an interview, the beneficiary expressed much gratitude over the support offered him by the traditional priest.
He narrated that he lost his house and all belongings to the fire in 2019.
He recalled that all hope was lost and that he had nobody to look up to when the incident occurred.
“So I was so much touched and comfortered when Nana Kwadwo Boateng gave the assurance that he will put up a befitting house to replace the burnt one.
Nana stayed truthful to his promise and what you are seeing today occurred as a great relief to me and my family”
Nana Kwadwo Boateng told the media that he sensed the need to help the victim “because I know how he struggled to put up that 7-bedroom house and I knew it wasn’t going to be easy for him to put up such facility again.
I mean how can I rest while my brother suffers? Considering the magnitude of loss and sensing the pain he was going through, I opted to put up this facility so as to refresh his spirit”.
Nana therefore called on the rich to do same for the vulnerable within their respective communities.
