Member of Parliament for Juaben constituency Hon Ama Pomaah has paid a working visit to schools within her jurisdiction.
The objective of the move was to access the situation of education, identify and address challenges faced by each academic institution.
She embarked on the visit on 24th May 2021.
Among the schools she visited were Juaben M/A Primary School, Juaben Islamic Schools and schools at Adumasa.
She also paid a visit to the municipal education directorate of Juaben.
As part of the visit, the Member of Parliament distributed dual desks numbering close to 1000 to selected school.
She also donated computers to the Juaben municipal education directorate and other IT logistics to St. Sabastian Catholic SHS at Adumasa.
At the latter institution, she promised to offer them a public address system; one of the challenges faced by the school.
Addressing the media, she underlined that the donated items represented the fulfilment of her 2020 campaign promise.
She assured that she is poised towards uplifting the standard of education in the area through the provision of the needed logistics.
Receiving the items, Engineer Adu Kumi, Municipal Education Director thanked the MP for the support.
