The last batch of trainees of the European Union Funded project; No Business As Usual (NBU) have been equipped with entrepreneurial lessons embedded in an American movie titled “JOY”.
At a movie night event held at the hub of the project at Asokore Mampong Municipality, trainees were held spellbound as they watched “JOY”; a wild story of a family across four generations centered on the girl who becomes the woman who founds a business dynasty and becomes a matriarch in her own right.
Betrayal, treachery, the loss of innocence and the scar of love, pave the road in this intense emotional and human comedy about becoming a true boss of family and enterprise facing a world of unforgiving commerce.
Allies become adversaries and adversaries become allies, both inside and outside the family as Joy’s inner life and fierce imagination carry her through the storm she faces.
Per the deductive content, officials of NBU Project and facilitators empowered participants on how they can endure hardship in their respective field of business, develop innovative ideas, visualize a business idea, transform innovative solutions into a viable business among others.
Youth Coach for NBU Abdul Rahman Ashraf tutored participants on how they can run a successful business.
He advised that the total inclusion of one’s mind and heart is a key determinant of how successful a business can be.
“You cannot run a successful business if your heart and mind are not with the business. This is what you need if you want to start a business.”,he challenged.
He informed them on challenges which they are likely to face should they venture into the business terrain.
“You should understand that not everyone will like your idea. Others will oppose, others too will be in support”
Facilitator Samuel Amoako also advised participants to persevere in the midst of challenges so as to become good and successful entrepreneurs in life.
