Joy Amadin, a woman aged 52 has been arrested by the Imo State Police Command for allegedly stabbing her daughter.
Happiness Amadin who is 24 years old girl was killed by her mother after she disclosed to her that she is a lesbian and will never get married to a man.
The incident occurred few days after the deceased celebrated her birthday.
She gave up the ghost on her way to the hospital after being stabbed.
The suspect disclosed that “ i stabbed her out of annoyance, i caught her red handed with a fellow girl while they were making out in bed then I questioned her while she engage in such acts she boldly told me she is into women only before slapping me, out of anger and shame I stabbed her with the knife i was using to peel a mango”.
Speaking on the strenght of the report, the Imo State Public Relations Officer says the case will be thoroughly look into After investigations are concluded
