Mohammed “VI” Foundation Donates Food Items To Muslims In Kumasi

 

 

The Ghana branch of Mohammed “VI” Foundation of African Oulema has donated assorted food items to 150 Muslims in Ashanti region.

Some of the items were mini bags of rice, pieces of bottled cooking oil, bags of sugar among others.

They were presented on Tuesday, 4th May 2021 by the National Executive Director Sheikh Abdul Wadud Cissey who doubles as the National President for Tijaniya Muslims of Ghana at the Kumasi Central mosque.

 

Beneficiaries were mostly widows and orphans and the aim of the move was to support them with the items as they observe the Ramadan.

Addressing the media, Sheikh Abdul Cissey said that the organisation which comprises of African Islamic Scholars under the auspices of the King of Morroco is poised towards supporting the vulnerable within the Muslim community and beyond.

The same support according to him will be replicated at the final closure of the fast.
