Firebrand legal practitioner Mr. Williams Kusi has sucker punched Vice President Dr. Bawumia on matters related to logistical contributions in NPP.
Comparing and contrasting the support Hon Kennedy Agyapong has offered NPP with that of Dr. Bawumia, he has opined that the former has done so much for the party which far exceeds that of the latter.
Addressing a gathering of artisans at Suame Magazine last week Wednesday, the Legal and Communications Head for the campaign team of Hon Kennedy Agyapong Lawyer Williams Kusi stated that NPP is full of ingrates, recalling that in 2014, Hon Kennedy Agyapong solely financed NPP Congress which was held at Tamale.
“The party had no money for the Congress.
We had rich men in the party but they all kept their monies under their beds and pillows.
Kennedy realising the poor financial state of the party signed a cheque to foot the bills on all expenses for the congress”.
He also referenced a financial support of 2million dollars which the maverick politician gave to support the party in a run-off elections.
Still in his political cum living testimony, Lawyer Kusi also mentioned that Kennedy Agyapong bought more than 600 pick-up vehicles to support NPP for the Kumawu by-election.
“It was after the Kumawu by-election that we heard that “Obiba J.K” (Dr. Bawumia) has shipped 100 pick-ups into the country but they were for his campaign and not to support the party”.
“So why then do you think we should ignore Kennedy Agyapong for “Obiba J.K (Dr. Bawumia) who has not bought even a pin for the party?”.
Furthering his testimony, Lawyer Williams Kusi said that apart from Kennedy’s logistical support, he is intellectually strong.
“He doesn’t give lectures.
He doesn’t ask unnecessary questions.
He solves problems. What we need is a problem solver not questions and answers, not portmanteau questions for us to answer”.
