Lawyer Williams Kusi has vociferously lambasted MP for Suame Constituency, Hon Kyei Mensah Bonsu for defying the constitution of the elephant party by involving himself in a campaign spree for Vice President Dr. Bawumia.
The firebrand legal practitioner, doubling as the Ashanti Regional Legal and Communication Head for the Campaign team of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has asserted that the latter is a member of the parliamentary caucus and also part of the National Executive Officers.
On the foregoing premise, NPP’s constitution according to him does not permit him or persons holding such positions to take sides or campaign for any political candidate.
Lawyer Kusi made this statement when he was addressing a gathering of artisans who have joined the campaign wagon of Hon Kennedy Agyapong at Suame Magazine on Thursday.
The Lawyer tongue-lashed the legislator when he said that “Kyei Mensah Bonsu has now turned himself into a campaign manager for a particular candidate. We will drive him out of this constituency. If he doesn’t respect himself, we will drive him out of this constituency”.
He furthered his critique be saying that Hon. Kyei Mensah Bonsu is dragging the good image of Suame Constituency in the mud through his unconstitutional move and as a result has provoked some individuals to speak ill of the constituency.
“He is not doing what he is supposed to do as the MP for Suame Constituency.
He has digressed from his parliamentary role and is campaigning for Bawumia.
It will be a show down for him the next time he visits this constituency”.
