Nana Amponsah Kwah IV, Chief for Kwanwoma of Atwima Kwanwoma District in Ashanti region has marked this year’s Christmas festive season with a mega food distribution.
At his palace on Wednesday, he gave out 150 pieces of clothing plus a colossal number of 200 mini bags of rice to the vulnerable within his community.
The forecourt of his palace was highly punctuated with the gathering of residents who massed up to grab their share of the traditional cake.
The benevolent act according to him was a way of demonstrating his love for the aged , less-fortunate and all residents in the area; patterned after how God as a way of proving his love for humanity gave out his SON (JESUS CHRIST) to die for mankind.
“As my people and I celebrate our version of this year’s yuletide, I want to put a smile on their faces through this act of charity; evidence that I have at heart their welfare. I did a similar thing during the COVID-19 lockdown. This will not be the end because I am determined to support and improve the welfare of all residents. I will always be around to support them as every leader is expected to do”, he said in an interview.
