Nana Amponsah Kwah IV, Chief for Kwanwoma, a community located within the Atwima Kwanwoma district has amplified his benevolent support for the vulnerable within his jurisdiction and beyond.
Just last Wednesday 15th April 2020, the chief who is noted for his usual act of charity supplied 300 tubers of yam and 250 packs of eggs to residents of Kwanwoma and sorrounding communities.
The foregoing occurred at the time he and his sub chiefs including members of the community were observing “awukud33”-a monthly feast held by the Akans on Wednesday.

“Awukud33” is a sacred moment within the Akan’s traditional calendar and it’s held in high esteem as a period where thanksgiving, sacrifices and libations are offered to the gods for the purification of a land or community.
Kwanwoma’s version was well attended and was embellished by free food distribution to the poor and needy, a demonstration of the Chief sensitivity to the welfare of his people.
Addressing leakynews.net, Nana Amponsah Kwah IV noted that much of his passion is geared towards improving the welfare of the people in his community.
The items he indicated were given out to the vulnerable as part of efforts aimed at easing the financial pressure which came on a number of citizens at the time lockdown order was in force.
Two weeks before the awukud33, Nana Amponsah Kwah IV donated 200 5 kilo bags of rice and 500 hand rub sanitisers to residents of Kwanwoma.
The items were presented door-to-door as a special package exclusive to his community during the now lifted three weeks ban on movement.
