KMA Boss Grabs another award, named outstanding MCE in Ghana in supporting education

On Saturday, 31st October, 2020, the Mayor of Kumasi City, Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi was named, the Outstanding MCE of the year in supporting Education.

The organisers revealed that, Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi has, over the years, has demonstrated a considerable degree of interest in the area of Education in the Kumasi Metropolitan Enclave.

Receiving the plaque of honour on behalf of the Mayor, George Opoku Amponsah, his Personal Assistant, was grateful to the organisers for the extensive work done in arriving at such a conclusion.

The 2020 awards, which was organised under the auspices of the National Students Awards Secretariat, was the Sixth edition and held at the famous CCB Auditorium, KNUST.

Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi has several prestigious awards to his credit as Chief Executive of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly.
Winning the Dignified City Award in a Sanitation Challenge for rewarding excellence in liquid waste management, the Stewardship Award by Heroes of Faith, Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana award and most recently, named as the Best Performed Metropolitan Chief Executive by the Pan African Heroes Foundation is no mean an achievement.

The recent recognition by the National Students Awards Secretariat further entrenches the gains made by Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi since assumption of office as KMA Boss.
