Hon Kennedy Agyapong has donated 200 pieces of street light bulbs to address the poor lighting situation at Race Course market of the Kumasi Metropolis.
The gesture was called to play as a fulfilment of one of the campaign promise he made to market women trading in the area during his first campaign visit to the area.

Maverick politician who doubles as the MP for Assin Central is aspiring for the position of NPP Presidential candidate for the upcoming 2024 elections.
Engaging the traders in his first campaign visit, the absence of street light and poor road network in the area were raised by the market women as a big challenge which he pledged to address.
The street light bulbs were presented on his behalf by the National Campaign Manager Mr. Kwame Owusu to the leader of the traders Nana Yaa Oforiwaa.
Other executives and dignitaries present at the event were Elder Oppong Bio ( National Campaign Chairman), Elizabeth Agyeman (Former Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister), Administrator for Bantama Sub-metro among others.
Receiving the items, Nana Yaa Oforiwaa thanked Hon Kennedy Agyapong for the support.
They were of the hope that Hon Kennedy Agyapong will surely be elected as NPP’s Presidential candidate for the upcoming 2024 general election.
They promised to rally behind him to become the president of Ghana.
