I’ve regretted campaigning and voting for Akuffo Addo in 2016

Kwame Asare Obeng a.k.a A-Plus was very instrumental during the campaign 2016 as he was seen and heard vigorously campaigning for the NPP and Mr. Akufo-Addo which led to the party’s historic victory.

After the elections, Kwame A Plus was given an undeserved job at Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST) and was receiving the very best of remuneration.

But due to his loudmouth character and attitude, he lost his enviable position at BOST and fast forward, he has turned anti-NPP.

Now, A-Plus has made it emphatic that he has regretted campaigning and voting for the NPP in 2016 general elections.

Report culled from JoyNews quoted the controversial failed singer turned politician to have said: “He campaigned for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) because he needed a change of governance and for the country to be better, but however, regretted this”.

He explained to George Quaye on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z on Saturday that he is disappointed because the change he looked out for never happened.

“We wanted change, we believe everything that was been said, we believed it was not right for John Mahama to run a family and friends’ government. We believed that it was not right for John Mahama to have 87 ministers.

“They were too many and now we come and we have more than that. We live in a country where NPP and NDC are the same and it is the fact even though they don’t want to hear,” he stressed.

According to him, the constitution charge government to provide a conducive environment for the citizens, but everything is opposite under Akufo Addo’s era or better still administration
