Flashback: It will be difficult for a Muslim to become President of Ghana- Salifu Amoako

There has been a widespread of rumour on social media which suggests that Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia will be the next presidential candidate of New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2024 general elections.

However, the founder of Alive Chapel International, Prophet Salifu Amoako said on Asempa FM’s Ekosisen program that “There is no politician who can win power without the involvement of Christians. It would be difficult for a Muslim to become a president of Ghana. It is possible for Muslim to become a president of Ghana but it is difficult. This is because of the 70% of Christians in Ghana. You (non Christianity religions) can have a vice president position”

According to the words of Prophet Salifu, the church as a body of Christ has great influence in governance and economic development in Ghana than any other religion.

He touted many infrastructural facilities (schools, hospitals and others) that have been established by the church for the benefit of the masses.

He drew conclusion that the church should proclaim the will of God and win more souls to the kingdom of heaven.

He was hosted by Philip Osei Bonsu popularly known as OB on Asempa FM, dated on December 11, 2020.
