Many times we cry out to God to speak to us anytime we’re nervous, anxious or overwhelmed.
When we need something we look for his voice for guidance. The good news is God still wants to hear from us and talk to us. God speaks to people continuously but too often they skip listening to God’s messages because they only rarely try His guidance – Normally when they are going through a crisis or facing a major decision. Then, people are confused and overwhelmed with a desperate need to hear from God because they don’t know what they should do. They begin to ask how to hear from God and why not
That will not be the way it is. And it can be done, God wants us to hear His messages. The trick is to ignore formulas and jokes to hear from God. Instead, concentrate on the kind of relationship with God that will encourage you to hear God speak frequently.
The closer you get to God, the more you can connect with Him, research and hear from Him and the more God uses these experiences to shape you into the person He wants you to become.
The refusal to listen to God is one of the problems facing Soo many Christians.
What they are not aware of is that God has spoken to them all the time, but they have not understood. You may feel like God doesn’t talk to you, whether you’re not careful or you can’t hear Him. You will discover the different ways God has spoken to you and how you can begin to hear from God after reading this article.
Discover that God created you with Himself for a close friendship.
In a relationship with Him, by definition, how you hear best about God. God wants you to accept His will when you participate openly and intelligently in daily interactions with Him. God’s will is to come personally with you and chat immediately to you as you walk through life. Then you will become more like His Father, Jesus, to truly understand Him.
Do more than just hear God for your goal.
Your ultimate goal should not be this, while hearing from God. Put your main goal in a close relationship with God to be a spiritually mature human. Only thus can you hear what God has to teach you clearly and correctly.
Try not to push Him to say anything to you.
No matter how much you want to hear from God or how much you can force Him to speak to you, it’s only when He wants to communicate with you that you can hear from God. Keep on having a healthy relationship with God and wait until His time sends you messages. However, if God will not determine what you have wished for and what you believe is within the Scripture moral values, you will freely continue to make your own choices as to what you do and what you find to be within the will of God..
LISTEN AND PAY ATTENTION
The first step to learning from God is listening and paying careful attention. Do not listen to the conversation or the reaction, but watch out and get clarity. God doesn’t like speaking when it’s loud and busy everywhere, even though He can talk at these moments, but you hear God the best in silence. So start listening from now on, and paying attention away.
Recognize God’s voice above all others.
From practice, you can learn to understand God’s voice when He speaks and to respond confidently to what He says. When recurring thoughts, pray over them to determine if they can come from God. Mind that God would never give you a message that contradicts Bible values. God’s voice often holds the weight of power within it and communicates a spirit of love, confidence, happiness, reasonableness, and goodwill. If you think that God will speak to you, ask Him to clarify as you read and meditate on the Scriptures, as you are alert to the circumstances you find yourself in, or as you sense the Holy Spirit’s thoughts in your mind.
Recognize that God interacts with your mind in many ways, but most frequently.
God may select any of several different ways to communicate with you, depending on what’s best at various times and situations in particular. Often in dramatic ways, for example by angels, dreams, or extraordinary occurrences, you will hear God’s message. But more often than not, you will hear God-talk in your thoughts and He will use ordinary activities like reading the Scriptures, praying silently, learning from situations, or finding guidance from other Christians to reach out to you while you think about them.If appropriate, God will use dramatic means to get your attention, but His intention is for you to be so closely related to Him that you will be vigilant as He interacts with you. God typically talks through what people have described as a “still, small voice” to inspire those He loves to want to walk closely with Him through life.
DREAMS
You ‘re in big trouble if you don’t dream, because if things don’t go well, you won’t know why, or what God is doing about it. The first step to being safe is this, if you’re dreaming. God communicates by visions. He will warn you, and inform you through dreams to show the future to you. And if you’re dreaming, you’ll probably feel a part of the message from God for you.
THE BIBLE
God has already spoken to you and the Bible reflects it. He has already given you directions and told you what could happen in the future. God has made you aware of His blessings and rights in Him. And to ask Him again is like repitiation. You can hear God through His Word. If you want to read the Bible, you listen to God’s word for you.
INTUITION/FEELING
You could be in a situation and just feel the need to do something, because the situation will be solved when you do it or you will get your testimony. It is God who guides you by your thoughts and your emotions and talks to you. But, if you have the desire to do something wrong, then this is the devil. It is God who listens to you and encourages you by giving you His peace about it, when you feel the need to do something and have great peace in mind.
VISIONS
You can also just see moving images, or only move through them like a video app. That’s like a vision, and God is speaking to remind you and show you through dreams and to assure you of it.
THROUGH SYMBOLS
If you think for it and go about your day, you see a message about it, it’s God talking to you. For example, you ‘re praying to God for a job, and the next day someone comes to tell you that they’ve just got a new job, that’s a sign from God that you’re on the way. Instead of asking “Why when” Why talks by signs and signals you will be satisfied, responsibility is left to you.
THROUGH OTHERS
God will send someone to ask you. The message is His Word to you. It may be a sermon preaching to you, the priest, something that someone demands of you or an order given to you. God will talk to you through others so don’t take it for granted. There are some of the ways God converses with you. My question to you is this: Have you ever seen any of these? If so, perhaps God has already spoken to you. It should be on the scale of your current point of prayer. Tell God that you want to hear Him more because you are already listening to Him and you want a deep friendship with Him.
