“I Support Chairman Wontumi Because Of These Reasons”- NPP Man

I am Duncan Opoku Boateng otherwise and popularly known as Bombay.

In the coming and looming
NPP Regional Elections I have thrown my support for Chairman Wontumi, the incumbent Ashanti Regional CHAIRMAN because power sweets. Opposition we all know is just like a COVID-19 PANDEMIC.

I am not supporting WONTUMI for just supporting sake but I have a
PURPORSE DRIVEN SUPPORT BASE FOR WONTUMI

1) Chairman Wontumi was
NPP Chairman for one of the 47 constituencies in Ashanti Region called BOSOMTWE CONSTITUENCY. Wontumi had built a very strong and resilient party at Bosomtwe building party offices and supporting the grassroots by changing their lives from bad to good.

*STRUGGLING FOR GOVERNMENT POWER*

All this while, NPP had been struggling for power from the NDC which had become a real tussle and turmoil for NPP to conquer. The Ashanti Party leadership then had tried all they could to the zenith of their strength to wrestle power from the NDC but all to no avail.
That began the exploration for a warrior and a savior to liberate NPP from the unsavoury hands of NDC.

Some of the Ashanti Party Leadership names withheld proposed bringing that young vibrancy and warrior Chairman for Bosomtwe then, WONTUMI who was performing marvellously well to lead NPP to conquer power from NDC.

After thorough and intuitive deliberations, all the Ashanti leadership then, including Chairman Kwaku Appiah of Kode3 then and now condescended that Wontumi was the only person amongst the lot who could conquer power from the NDC – Wontumi was then brought to lead NPP to the 2016 elections.

Lo and behold wontumi was voted for as the Chairman for NPP Ashanti in 2014 after losing 2008 and 2012 elections to Prof Mills of NDC and Comm Mahama also of NDC.

With the spirit of chooboi, abundantly resources and electioneering dynamism Chairman WONTUMI engineered into NPP’s campaign in 2016, NPP won the 2016 presidential elections overwhelmingly with votes difference of over 1million – a living testimony which makes wontumi a warrior always.

Again, in 2020, wontumi lead NPP Ashanti to another tough and foxy presidential elections and again won to maintain NPP in Government as NPP’s are enjoying today.

However promablematic the 2020 elections were, the ultimate was accomplished that is, winning the presidential election – this maintains the maxim that WONTUMI is a warrior- a record he still hold as the savior of NPP from opposition.

THE FACT REMAINS UNREVICED

What is this fact?
The fact is the ultimate mandate of NPP CHAIRMAN in Ashanti Region, as the heartbeat of NPP. This fact is
*MARSHALING FORCES TO GET OVER 70% total votes cast to win presidential elections* Chairman Wontumi has never relented nor reneged on this mandate vested in him he have fulfilled his mandate.

The question is, is it necessary at all to arrange WONTUMI for a contest if indeed NPP wants to maintain power the 3rd time? If yes WHY?

THESE AND OTHER unconquerable virtues and track records of WONTUMI
ARE MY
*PURPOSE DRIVEN SUPPORT BASE*.

SUMMARY OF MY
*PURPOSE DRIVEN SUPPORT BASE*

(1) WONTUMI WAS BROUGHT TO CONTEST A CHAIRMAN WHO HAD LOST TWO PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS 2008 AND 2012 but not a presidential election winning Chairman.

(2) WONTUMI LEAD NPP TO 2016 ELECTIONS AND WON THE PRESIDENTIAL RACE LIBERATING NPP FROM OPPOSITION.

(3) WONTUMI AGAIN LEAD NPP TO 2020 ARDOUS ELECTIONS AND MAINTAINED NPP IN POWER.

MY CONCLUSION
SETS TWO
PARTINENT QUESTIONS

(1) those wishing the removal of wontumi from office, do you want NPP going to opposition or what at all is your basis for this distraught feeling? convince the delegates forgotten your financial enticement.

(2) those supporting other candidates as against WONTUMI, what is your *PURPOSE DRIVEN SUPPORT BASE*? – convince the delegates not thinking of buying votes.

NPP DELEGATES I KNOW WANT POWER

THEY WILL NEVER COMPROMISE POWER ON ANY REASON.
