GNACOPS Starts Leadership Training For Private School Managers In Ghana

The Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) has started a one-month intensive leadership education course for private school owners in Ghana seeking school management and leadership skills.

The short professional Pre-tertiary leadership education programme begun today Saturday 10th April 2021 at Atomic Energy Commission University of Nuclear Energy.
This leadership education programme for private school managers is aiming at building professional competencies among all stakeholders in private education delivery for a serious house cleaning and total redefining interventions to curtail the growing challenges facing the sector.

Speaking on behalf of GNACOPS, the National Executive Director of the private schools Council, Mr Enoch Kwasi Gyetuah said, participants at the end of the course will know and understand the betterment of establishing well defined private school that focuses on child development, holistic education promotion and understanding of private education operations.

“The leadership education programme is to restore and bring the private sector education to the light for public recognition, free from intimidations and seek support for quality-assured education delivery, where stronger collaboration is built among all stakeholders and are seen also as the key team players,” Mr E. Gyetuah stated.

“GNACOPS is doing this because most institutions and agencies responsible to educate these owners on how to even retain their teachers have rather dwelled on their ignorance to extort a huge sum of money from them in view of helping them to register or meet standards.

They sometimes put them through some oblique way so that these innocent School owners would not find their way out
We are at the stage of implementing well defined private educational framework to project and achieve private education outcome in Ghana for national education development goal.
