CEO for Glitz Africa , Claudia Kwarteng Lumor has secured a strong commendation from Ace journalist Oheneyere Gifty Anti on her quest for the parliamentary seat of Oforikrom Constituency.
The former is vigorously working towards winning the contest as the 2024 parliamentary candidate on the ticket of the NPP and owing to that the latter says she is enthused that Claudia has ventured into politics.
“I’m happy to know she is going into politics and I pray that she wins”, Gifty Auntie stated in an interview with the media on the sidelines of the 8th Annual Women of the Year Honors event dubbed “SHE Mentorship”, held in Kumasi.
Making deductions from Claudia’s international and iconic impact plus her moral qualities, Gifty noted that Claudia’s decision to touch the lives of people within his constituency through politics is an ideal move.
“She is forceful, a visionary, well-founded and I know that if she wins she will do much for the constituency”, she told the press.
Gifty Anti asserted that Ghana at the moment lags behind vis-a-vis women occupying political positions.
She said it’s her prayer that come 2025, more women will occupy more parliamentary positions.
SHE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
The event was organised by Glitz Africa and held at KNUST, faculty of law on 3rd June 2023.
Gifty Anti who doubles as the CEO for GDA Media was one of the speakers at the event.
Others were HRM Stacy Boakye- CEO for Platinum Networks, Serra Amihere-Broadcast journalist at GH One TV, Ama Duncan- Founder of Fabulous Women Network, among others.
Touching on the event, Gifty Anti thanked Claudia Lumor for giving hope and confidence to women who turned up at at the program.
