George Floyd’s murder; ex-policeman whipped with $1.25m bail

 

 

Minneapolis Ex-policeman charged for murdering George Floyd has been whipped with a court bail of $1.25m after making his first court appearance.

Prosecutor for the case cited the “severity of the charges” and public agitations as the premise which shot up his bail from $1m.

The police officer officially called Derek Chauvin is currently facing charges of second-degree murder and manslaughter.

Other three involved in the act are also battling with the charges of aiding and abetting murder.

Per the details of the callous incident, Mr. Chauvin who is white, knelt on the neck of the deceased for almost nine minutes while he was being arrested in Minneapolis on 25th May.
