“Friends Of Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto” Donates Food Items To Muslims In Kumasi

Executives and members of a group called “Friends of Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto” have kick-started a jumbo donation exercise within the various Zongo communities in Ghana.

On Saturday 1st May 2021, the leadership of the group which seriously championing the political ambition of Ghana’s Agric Minister Hon Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto paid a visit to Muslims in Kumasi in the wake of their Ramadan fast.

They went to the Kumasi Central mosque and Aboabo and gave out assorted food items to them as an expression of their love and support.

The move was also a way of assisting the vulnerable who are also observing the sacred month so that they can fall on the food items anytime they break the fast.

The items included 10 bags of sugar, 10 boxes of Lipton, 10 carton of milk and 100 pieces of “Buta”.

Same was replicated on Sunday 2nd May 2021 in Atebubu, Takyiman, Adwira and Kintampo.

Speaking to, Leader for the group’s communication team Francis… noted that the main focus of the move was to give out the items so that beneficiaries will seek the blessings of Allah for the group and the workaholic Agric Minister.

He said that through their prayers, Allah will endow the honourable Minister Dr. Afriyie Akoto with much wisdom to steer the affairs of Ghana’s Agric sector.
