The Chief Executive Officer for the Public Sector Reform, Thomas Kusi Boafo has without fear or favour told the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and the NPP to remain focused and fixed the remaining challenges existing in the Ashanti Region.
He said on Wuntumi Television that, the Ashanti Region still remains the electoral world bank of the NPP and that alone should compel the Party to hold the region in high esteem.
“Ashanti Region is the heart of the NPP whether we like it or not. If the NPP deject Ashanti Region, then we should forget our stronghold for the next fifteen years… So, if we hear there is a project that has been abandoned in the Ashanti Region, we should begin panicking.
If we have forgotten to fix some town roads in the Ashanti Region, then we should forget it. If we don’t fix the Boankra inland port, then we should as well know that the Ashanti Region is no more our stronghold. If all what I have enumerated have failed, then the NPP should know that they are doomed for the next fifteen years in the Ashanti Region”. Mr. Thomas Kusi Boafo noted.
He was however quick to add that, the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo administration has been able to introduce transformational programmes in the Ashanti region, and that could save the party in the upcoming December 2020 elections.
He indicated that, most of the town roads which have been dejected before, have all been fixed.
“In fact, we have been very lucky that Ashanti Region has been voting for us. But God Bless Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo for fixing most of the challenges. He has really made the campaign easy for the NPP this year by fixing all the roads and many others.
Today Ashanti region is transformed and everybody seem happy. Now Ashanti region is getting the recognition that they have been waiting for many years. The Affordable housing project is now ongoing. This is great transformation under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo. I’m looking up to Ashanti region people to go out in their numbers and vote massively for the NPP”. Mr. Thomas Kusi Boafo added.
