Ejisu Constituency: Over 300 Women Complete 7-Day Training In Vocational Skills

Close to 300 women of Ejisu constituency who started a 7-day vocational skills training have completed successfully.

They passed out last Friday 26th May 2023 and each was awarded certificate of completion.

Trainees were equipped with knowledge on how to make liquid soap, shower gel, parazone, pastries among others.

The training was the initiative of the NPP women organiser Madam Vida Adjei, implemented through a collaboration with officials of ASEDA Foundation with funding support from the MP Lawyer John Kumah.

Addressing the media, the women organiser charged the graduands to monitise whatever knowledge they received during the training by starting a career.

Doing that she indicated will make them financially independent and also help them take care of the needs of their families.

She assured that her outfit is ready to assist those who though have completed the training but lack the needed start-up support to start a career.

Madam Vida said she was impressed by the number that turned up for the training, saying that “the number even exceeded our expectation”.

“We will not end here. We will train another batch of people and make sure the initiative is sustained”, she indicated.
