Duase Assemblyman Supports Students With Mathematical Sets, Urges Them To Study Hard

 

 

Assembly member for the Duase electoral area in the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Hon Prince Osei Mensah has urged parents and guardiance of BECE candidates not to do things that will destruct the minds of their wards who are currently preparing for the examination.

He said that’s the safest way through which he believes the children can succeed in their impending exams.

He maintained that going to school for many years, and playing jokes with your pen during this serious moment will be a wasted effort.

 

He has therefore admonished students who are also set for Monday’s impending BECE not play jokes with their efforts since that’s their surest future.

He said was it was very urgent for students at this stage to put all other things aside and be serious with their books since there are more sleeps after death.

Supporting students from a cluster of schools with mathematical sets, Hon. Prince Osei Mensah disclosed that success of pupils was his topmost priority, hence his readiness to sacrifice a last drop.

Over 180 candidates from different schools such as the Duase M/A Basic School, Valley of Roses International School, R/C Basic School etc received were given mathematical sets by the assembly member.

Explaining his motive for taking such a step, the assembly member said he was committed to doing it to motivate the students. He however pledged to do more for candidates who will excel in the BECE.
He said, it was his dream to see most of the students become great persons such as MPs, Ministers, Business Moguls, Contractors and many others.

Speaking on behalf of the heads, headmaster of the Duase M/A Basic School, Mr. Kwaku Brogya Boateng commended the assembly member for his kind gestures. He however urged students to do their best to satisfy the desires of the honourable member, their guidance and the school by excelling with all efforts in Monday’s exams.

Mr. Brogya Boateng who commended the honourable member for many things pleaded with others to emulate the assembly member.

Lastly, some beneficiary students who enjoyed the benevolent act of the honourable member thanked him and however pledged to make sure the money used to purchase the mathematical equipment do not become a waste. They promised to excel…
