Critical Thinking: NBU Empowers Visual Arts Students Of Parkoso SHS

Visual Arts students of Parkoso Senior High School have been empowered on Entrepreneurship by officials of the much talked about No Business As usual (NBU) Project.

As part of the project’s two broad objectives which include; stimulating youth employment, executives of the project reached out to students and offered them in-depth tutorials on how they can be economically productive even after school.

The reach out event was held at the assembly hall of the school on Monday, 22nd February, 2021and was punctuated by the presence of authorities of the school.

Accomplished entrepreneurs; Madam Naomi Kukuro (CEO for EMB Ahenfie) and Abel Mintah (CEO for GUTIMANI Brand)) were brought onboard at the event to feed participants with business knowledge through their presentations.

The former in her presentation on Critical Thinking and Problem Solving guided participants on how they can identify a problem within a business environment, address the challenge with a viable solution so as to come out with products and services that will fall within the interest of customers.

In her statement, she recalled how people tagged Visual Arts students as those with weak accademic intelligent quotient.

She debunked that notion, raising a strong defense that “Visual Arts students are those who are now shaking the world” especially in the area of IT.

She encouraged them to employ other avenues of knowledge to add up to what they already have.

Assistant Headmaster for Accademics Mr. Atta Boakye charged students to utilize the skills they have acquired through the event to support themselves and their families after school.
