The Ashanti regional chairman for All People’s Congress (APC) Dr. Ahmed Kasim Sisago has advised philanthropists and the well-to-dos to quit donating monies into government’s instituted covid-19 relief fund.
In an exclusive dialogue with leakynews.net, he ranted that, ”there is a clear likelihood that the ruling authority may divert a portion of monies donated into the account at the blind side of donors and citizens to champion his political ambition”.
Dr. Ahmed Sisago who is described as the beloved political disciple of Dr. Hassan Ayariga-founder and leader of APC expressed in his statement that persons interested in contributing financially to assist the needy and institutions in the fight against covid-19 should do so directly at the grass root level i.e. making the delivery to the vulnerable and institutions without any intermediary.
“Depositing monies into the covid-19 relief fund may not serve to the fullest the intended purpose. Just reach out to the people yourselves and supply to them whatever aid within your choice and capacity. ”, he opined.
