Kwaku Abonee aka Obama, a philanthropist of Manso Akwasiso in Amansie south District of Ashanti has donated PPEs to Agroyesum St.Matins Hospital and Adubia Health center amid covid-19 pandemic.
The PPEs worth thousand of cedis includes sanitizers and other valuable materials.
Presenting the items to the hospitals Mr.Kwaku Abonee stated that the fight to prevent covid-19 is a collective responsibility and that the status-quo calls for the need to assist our health facilities.
He said the disease is real hence the need to fight it with all our seriousness.
The foregoing he underlined calls for the creation of enabling environment for our front line health workers.
He advised Ghanaians to adhere to all the protocols.
“Today, I am joining hands with the Government of Ghana as I present these PPEs to support our two main hospitals to aid them in combating this pandemic.’’
Mr.Ofosuhene Nayas, District Health Director of Amansie South commended the philanthropist for his kind gesture.
