“Beware of Asenso Boakye”- Bantama Delegates Cautioned

By Enock Akonnor

NPP delegates of Bantama constituency have been cautioned to skate cautiously in their dealings with MP for the area, Hon Francis Asenso Boakye.

Mr. Kofi Owusu Konadu a.k.a “Owura”, a former NPP polling station chairman-Bantama Social club says he foresees “a mafia suspension” of some of the delegates by the MP, owing to how most of them voted for Hon. Kennedy Agyapong at the delegates congress.

He also coupled his reason with the surfacing of the brother of the maverick politician, Ralph Agyapong to contest for the Parliamentary seat.

According to him, the failure on the part of a number of the delegates in voting for “Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia did not mirror the MP’s interest and that of his political father President Akuffo-Addo.

He will therefore do everything possible to make sure they are kicked out”.

In an exclusive interview with, Mr. Kofi Owusu who has joined forces with a group called “NPP Rejected Delegates of Bantama” alledged that he and close to 430 past delegates were calously suspended by Hon. Asenso Boakye without any tangible reason, and that “a similar fate will definately befall the current delegates if they don’t exercise smartness in their dealings with Asenso Boakye”.

“He will kick out their names from the album and substitute them with new delegates of his choice to champion his political agenda. This is his plan. It has been whispered into my ears”, he hinted.
