General Overseer for Alive Chapel International, Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako has made a prediction that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) would be riddled with an in-party confusion over the choice of flagbearer as President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s tenure gets to a end.
According to his statement, there will be chaos among party people in the coming year when the NPP heads for Congress to elect their leaders.
He strongly noted that during the 31st Night Watch service at his church that two prominent personalities in the party would rise to contest the flagbearer-ship but this would bring about some disturbances in the party.
Famous Prophet Salifu Amoako further revealed that the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would face a strong contender in the person of the Minister for Trade and Industry, Alan Kyeremanteng in the coming years.
He added that Alan Kyeremanteng will be chosen but there will be some great forces that will marshal strategies to oppose his candidature.
“And the Lord said check the other party. And I looked at the NPP. I saw two men. They were Alan Kyeremanteng and Vice President Dr. Bawumia standing there. Then suddenly, I saw Alan’s hand lifted. But another hand came from behind and was pulling that hand down.
“But the man quickly lifted the hand up again. And the Lord told me to pray for that party because there would be a major confusion there. So this year will be a year of confusion but those who know God will be redeemed.”
Prophet Salifu Amoako premised on the foregoing charged the NPP and it’s supporters to pray against. He remarked that the spirit of confusion would set in the party and if care is not taken would disrupt the peaceful order in the elephant party when Akufo-Addo retires from the Presidency in 2024.
He also noted that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is not exempted from this chaos. The prophet indicated that the NDC would be torn apart over the choice to retain John Mahama as the flagbearer for 2024.
“I see NDC being divided. I see a huge confusion and there was fighting going on. And I looked, and saw they had no new flagbearer. I looked again and I saw John Mahama. But after him, I begin to see confusion. Some of them said they don’t want him, others said they like him.”
