Esther Martey, former Coordinator for the European Union Funded Project; No Business as Usual (NBU) Project has set the record straight that financial independence stops some level of nonsense in the life of every woman.
She said on Saturday 15th May 2021 at a Mothers’ Day event organized by officials of NBU in Kumasi that there is the need for women to take on the skills of financial management so as to become financially independent. “It stops some nonsense in your life “ she charged.
In her presentation, she kicked against women’s habit of always depending on their partners for survival, advocating that women should not rely on their husbands or partners for money.
Esther Martey admonished that every idle woman should start a vocation, plan well, develop the habit of saving so that they will be finically independent.
