Die-hard supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of the Bantama Constituency have launched a newly formed political club dubbed “AGENDA 2020 AND BEYOND”.
The key objective hence its formation is to adopt remote communities within some selected regions, embark on a house-to-house campaign and solicit for votes for the party by way of spreading their policies and achievements as the nation prepares for the soon coming general elections.
They will also sensitize residents on the position of NPP parliamentary and presidential candidates on the ballot paper and the right way to thumbprint so as to save the party from issues related to rejected votes.
National executives of the party were officially introduced to the public at the launch and fund raising event which was held on the 22nd of November 2020.
Per their line of operation, executives have been assigned separate constituencies where they will be conducting their operations which kick-started on Tuesday 24th November 2020.
National Chairperson for the Club Madam Abena Diamond in her statement said that they are determined to share the good policies of the party enjoyed by Ghanaians under the able leadership of their Presidential candidate Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo which according to her surpasses that of the opposition party NDC.
She made a quick indication that former Presidents Atta Mills and John Dramani Mahama (current flag bearer of the NDC) performed poorly during their tenure and as a result were unable to live behind any good legacy.
After sighting some of the good interventions of the NPP under the reign of former President John Agyekum Kufour and the incumbent Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo, she dared the NDC to pinpoint any good legacy they left for the citizens of Ghana when they were in office.
Mr. Saied Usman, National Vice Chairman for the club also indicated in his statement that victory is sure for the NPP and President Nana Addo will beat John Mahama by an unprecedented margin.
He disclosed that, Muslims within the various zongo communities are fed up with the poor delivery of the NDC since they have realized that the umbrella party has nothing good to offer Ghanaians.
