Assemblyman for Adenyase electoral area of the Asokore Mampong Municipality Hon Samuel Kolebil has completed the construction of a 24-seater toilet facility.
It is a public latrine and has been labelled as fulfilled campaign promises which was made by the Assemblyman before he was elected into office.
The lavatory was commissioned in August 2023 by the Chief of the community Nana Kusi Appiah.
Effort by the Assemblyman represents his contribution towards an sanitation and an end to open defecation in the electoral area.
The public latrine will replace an old one which is in a dilapidated state.
At the commissioning, Chief for the community Nana Kusi Appiah thanked the Assemblyman for the support, remarking that the facility is a reflection of the great vision and thoughts Hon Samuel Kolebil has for Adenyase electoral area.
“His contributions towards the development of this area beats my imagination”, he said.
The traditional leader made the foregoing comment after recalling a similar facility the Assemblyman has put up in areas including Suame, Sawaaba-railway and Sisala.
Hon Samuel Kolebil in his address thanked the traditional leaders and residents for supporting his vision.
He indicated that, he is much concerned about the development of the area and is therefore determined to do whatever he can to ensure the progress of the electoral area.
