Hajia Fuseina Muhammed,member of the United Progressive Party UPP who is contesting for the Asokwa parliamentary seat in Ashanti region has rescinded her decision to contest on the ticket of her party.
After packing her bag and buggage and deserting the party, she announced the withdrawal of her membership from the party and her decision to contest as an independent candidate.
Though she declined giving details as to what called her exit to play, she said she is not comfortable with certain issues within the party.
At a press conference held on Tuesday, she announced that, she has officially tendered her resignation at the party office.
