
Authorities of Kwadaso Municipal Assembly have constructed a 1 No 40 bed capacity male and female wards for the Apatrapa Health Centre.
The facility was commissioned on Monday 21st February 2022 by the Ashanti Regional Minister Hon Simon Osei Mensah and handed over to health officials.
Municipal Chief Executive Officer Hon Richmond Agyenim Boateng assured to put up a theatre facility for the center as a way of cushioning the delivery of staff and the status of the center.

The construction of the wards as announced by the MCE at the commissioning was made possible persistent lobbying by the assemblyman for the area Hon George Owusu Ansah who realized that the center deserves such facility to enhance its services.
Speaking at the occasion, Member of Parliament for Kwadaso Constituency Hon Kingsley Nyarko assured to effect measures to ensure that the center reaches the status of a polyclinic. He also promised to see to it that the compound is offered a befitting landscaping.
Regional Minister Hon Simon Osei said in his address that the facility is a demonstration of the good thoughts the assembly has for the community.
He thanked the assemblyman for lobbying for the facility and also thanked the traditional council of Apatrapa for offering officials land for the project.
He admonished the assembly to liaise with the traditional authorities and prevent any form of encroachment of lands provided for the health center.
Aside the 1 No. 40 bed capacity, the assembly also followed up with the commissioning of a newly constructed KG block at Takyiman and at the Agric M/A Primary School on the same day.
