apostasy; NDC communicator abandons umbrella family for NPP

The troubles in the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) seems not to be ending soon, at a time the party is putting things in place for victory in the upcoming 2020 Polls.

The latest blow to hit the umbrella family is the exit of a deputy communications officer of the party for Nkwanta South Constituency, Abdul Salam Osman.

The NDC communicator has now joined the New Patriotic Party (NPP), claiming that he finds the NPP party more tolerable and more ready to win election 2020 for Ghana’s development.

It is not clear what is really wrong within the NDC that might have prompted the deputy communications officer to quit the party. It is however alleged that he believes the NDC party does not welcome divergent opinions in a democratic manner as the NPP does.

Readers can recall that the NDC party recently suspended the former Central Regional chairman, Bernard Allotey Jacobs. The reason for Mr. Allotey’s suspension is still unknown as the letter signed by the party’s national chairman only gave the reason of “engaging in anti party conducts” by Mr. Allotey Jacobs.

However, people area of the opinion that Allotey’s suspension is largely because he is too honest for the NDC’s liking.
