Executives of Al Mannan Charity Foundation and DIYA Charity Foundation have presented food items to 30 less previledged children within the Asokore Mampong Municipality.
The children were aged between 3 to 12 years old.
Each took home items such as a live poultry bird, cooking oil, mini bag of rice, clothing, sugar among others as a support from the organizations.
Mr Mannan Ibrahim, founder and leader for Al Manan Charity Foundation after making the presentation told news men that his passion to offer support to needy children was triggered by some of the sad experiences he went through when he was young.
He shared with the press that it took the support of somebody to raise him to level he is now else he wouldn’t have reached anywhere in life.
From all the hassles he went through during childhood, he realized that there was the need to form the organisation, and through that assist poor children with the little support he can offer within his capacity.
