Founder and leader for a Ghana based prayer movement Azuza Prayer Ministry Pastor Stephen Edgar Appiah has charged all Christians to partake in the upcoming one-day nationwide fasting and prayers scheduled for Wednesday 25th March 2020.
The declaration of the said day by His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo-President of Ghana as a national day of fasting and prayers has been underlined by the international Pastor and revivalist as an ideal and a spiritual antidote which can salvage Ghana from the alarming Coronavirus infection.
Pastor Stephen Edgar Appiah believes that as advanced scientific interventions are proving futile in combating the dreadful time-bomb killer disease, the best defensive solution for Ghana is to take up the matter spiritually by calling on God for redemption.
“This is a time for all Ghanaians to humble themselves before God amidst an absolute abstainence from food (fasting), perhaps God will hear our cry and heal our land”, he indicated.
He thanked President Akuffo Addo for taking such a wise descision.
