Speaking on agriculture, Hon. Joseph Frimpong said the assembly has settled on nursing 60,000 palm tree seedlings and cocoa seedlings for distribution to 30,000 farmers within the district.
He told this medium that considering the litany of developmental projects executed by the assembly and for that matter the present administration of the Nana Addo led NPP government, “breaking the 8” is a done deal for the party in the district come 2024 general election.
“Breaking the 8″ is a possibility and we are working hard to make it happen”.
He mentioned that residents within the district have benefitted so much from interventions rolled out in the area by NPP.
Notable among them according to him are the rural electrification project and the community mining.
He indicated that the latter has created much employment opportunities for the youth in the area.
The DCE said he is hopeful that youth and residents will vote massively for the party in the 2024 election.
