General Superintendent for Assemblies of God, Rev. Dr. Steve Wengam has labelled the soon coming major crusade in Ashanti region dubbed; “Asanteman Great Gospel Crusade” (AGGC) as the panacea for the manifestation of the much awaited blessings of Ghana.
Addressing the media in Kumasi on Monday 7th November 2022, he premised his statement on the present challenges faced by the citizenry, admonishing that “this is the time we must look up to GOD”.

Rev. Wengam accentuated that the upcoming Christ for all Nations (CfaN)-led crusade which will be spearheaded by International Evangelist Daniel Kolenda (successor of late Reinhard Bonnke) will afford thousands of Ghanaians the opportunity to cry out to God for the restoration of a better moments.
He further assured that the event slated for Thursday 10th to Sundays 13th November 2022 will offer hope and comfort to citizens of Ghana so that the enemy will not take advantage of the present hardship to trigger confusion in the country.
Rev. Wengam’s engagement with the media was called to play after he had delivered a sermon at a Pastors Conference held at the Pentecost International Worship Center (PIWC), Asokwa-Kumasi.
The meeting formed part of preparatory steps towards the crusade.
Participants were Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Evangelists, Teachers, etc.
He spoke on the theme; “SUSTAINING THE PASSION FOR EVANGELISM AND SOUL WINNING AFTER THE CRUSADE”.
Prior to the conference, officials of the Asanteman Great Gospel Crusade (AGGC) held a prayer gathering aimed at dedicating the crusade venue (Race Course, Bantama) to God. It occurred on Sunday 6th November 2022.
The dedication witnessed a pomp gathering of Christians including International Evangelists, Pastors, church leaders, crusade workers among others.
In an interview with the media after the dedication, CfaN Executive Director for Africa, Rev. John Darku brought to note that God will through the crusade do unprecedented things in Asanteman and Ghana as a whole.
“We want you to know that this is the time for Asanteman. God has allotted to do a mighty thing in this land…to change this land, to bring peace, prosperity…”
