The latest branch of Zonda Tec Ghana Limited; the leading assembling automobile plant and supplier of quality trucks has been opened at Akrofuom-Pakyi No.2 road in Ashanti region.
It was commissioned on Tuesday 22nd February 2022 and per records, it is the 8th branch established in the region after the inauguration of one at Adako Jakyi on the Ejisu-Kumasi highway.
The gesture is an expression of the readiness of officials to bring their services to the doorsteps of customers through the provision of several auto brands and products ranging from tipper trucks, trailer heads, cargo trucks, semi-trailers, oil takers of various capacities, water tankers, flatbeds, low beds, concrete mixer trucks, graders, wheel loaders, bulldozers, rollers among other heavy duty machinery and relevant spare parts.
Presentat the opening were the representative of the Ashanti regional Minister (Hon Simon Osei Mensah) Dr. Francis Owusu Ansah-Director at the Regional Coordinating Council, representative of the Asantehene , the District Chief Executive Officer Hon Prince Karikari, District Police Commander Chief Superintendent Bridget Dzakpasu, Samuel Adu Gyimah- Assistant Planning Manager for Ghana Road Safety Authority among other players within the mining industry.
Addressing the occasion, Managing Director of Zonda Tec Ghana limited Madam Yang Yang said the company is noted for quality and affordable trucks which explains their mantra “Customer First, Service Foremost”.
She emphasized that setting up the branch will assist them to meet the demands of a burgeoning local population.
Yang Yang therefore admonished customers and will-be customers to call on their marketing team to attend to their needs so as to save them from travelling long distances to access their services.
She underscored that the company has created employment opportunities for many Ghanaians, explaining that the branch is staffed with 90 percent of the local people “because we feel they will have more understanding of your needs”.
Representative of the Ashanti regional Minister noted that the new branch will serve the needs of contractors constructing road from Atwima, Ahenema Kokoben through Anwiankwanta to Akrofuom, Obuasi, Upper Denkyira East and West to join the main Cape Coast road at Yamoransa.
The Minister said that Zonda Tech has made meaningful progress in recent years.
“The trucks made by the company are now outperforming others made abroad which is commendable.
No wonder a lot of mining and construction companies in Ghana prefer their trucks.
