A/R: Neighborhood Watch Community Police Honors Alhaji Ali Bali

Leadership of the Ashanti Regional Neighborhood Watch Community Police has honored Alhaji Abdul Ali Bali (Development Chief of Zongo Community-Kumasi).

They presented a citation to him on Thursday 30th June 2022 at the official launch of the organization in Kumasi.

The gesture was in recognition of his unceasing financial support geared towards resourcing over 4,600 personnel making up the group and sustaining it.

On record, Alhaji Abdul Ali has been the financial backbone of the organization and has alleviated it from the litany of challenges faced by several watchdog organizations particularly community policing in Ghana.

Receiving the citation, he said in an interview that he recognized the relevance of its formation vis-à-vis their role in fighting crime. He said he therefore saw the need to cushion their delivery with all the needed funding support so as to sustain it.

Alhaji Abdul Ali in his statement admonished well-to-do individuals and institutions to do same so as to safeguard the security of the country.

President of the Ashanti Regional Neighborhood Watch Community Police Faisal Ishmael explained that the group numbers a little over 4,600, briefing that personnel are drawn from the various electoral areas in Ashanti region.

He thanked Alhaji Abdul Ali for the good heart he has for the organization.

Present at the launch were Nana Owusu Apau (Bantama Gyaasehene) and ASP Kwasi Annor Arhin (Assistant Commissioner of Police-Ashanti Region).
